He is survived by: his parent Wilma Greene Nix; his spouse Lesa Diane Nix; his children, Kimberly Tipton (Brent) of Reidville and Patrick Nix (Kimberly) of Inman; his stepsons, Anthony Richard Pacosz and Danial Walter Pacosz; his siblings, Robert Nix (Jerrie), Larry Nix (Elaine) and Debbie Miller (Steve); and his grandchildren, Richard Logan Thackston, Andrew Doc Tipton, Skyler Wayne Tipton, Justin Wayne Nix and Matthew Jacob Nix.
