She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Matthew Cox, Sr.; her parents, Taylor N Henderson and Betty L. Bryant Henderson; her children, Charles Matthew Cox, Jr. and Peggy Kay; her siblings, Luther Henderson, Walter Henderson, Lawrence Henderson, Bertie Ashe, Mae Bell Westbrook, Marie Thompson, Louise Goodman, Maggie Porter and Georgia King; her granddaughter Margaret Suzette Cox; and her great grandchild Carrie Marie Kay.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Grant (Ed) of Belton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Flowers are accepted and memorials may be made to Dorchester Baptist Church.
