It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Mae Strickland of Belton, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mack and Eddie Mae Phillips Gambrell; her children, Chris Compton (Dawn) of Seneca and Melissa Hutchinson (Floyd) of Belton; her siblings, Kathy Hopson, Joyce Gattis, Larry Gambrell, Donald Gambrell and Jimmy Gambrell; her grandchildren, Joshua Sheldon Martin, Andrew Seth Martin, Holly Rebekah Dunn and Michael Hutchinson (Audrey); and her brother Dennis Gambrell.
