He is survived by: his wife Cecile Stephens (Bennett); his children, Debbie Daughtery (Don), Michael Stephens (Dinah) and Monty Stephens (Cindy); and his siblings, Donald Stephens, Mary Ann Steenbergen Weidenbacher, Sue Snearley and Kay Fuson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
