Charles Merz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, Charles Merz of Belton, South Carolina, born in Buffalo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Merz and Ellen Andrzejewski Merz; his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Donald M. Holleufer, Margaret Limburg and Patricia Larby.

He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Merz Daisey of Laurel, DE, Kelli Whitten of Anderson, Holly King (Clyde) of Lodi, WI and Tina Roughton (Gary) of Defiance, OH; his sister Patricia Peppard; and his grandchildren, Courtney Painter, Alex Dominguez, Brent Roughton, Christopher Dominguez, Gary Whitten and Justin Charles Whitten. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and special friends.
