He is survived by: his wife Bridget Gilbert Evans of Statesville, NC; his siblings, Henry Malloy Evans, Jr. (Catharine) of Spartanburg, SC and Jean Craig Evans of Cambridge, MA; his mother-in-law Charlene Gilbert of Statesville, NC; and his brother-in-law Carl Gilbert, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
