With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Bernard McAlister of Belton, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Anthony departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Anthony. Though Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman McAlister and Vivian Latham McAlister; and his sister Cathy Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bannister McAlister of Belton; his daughter Erin Patterson (Jeremy) of Belton; his grandchildren, Yates Paquette (Brantley) of Belton, Wila-Bergin McClain and Drennan Patterson; and his great grandchild Brenner Paquette.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Garden (112 Calhoun Rd, Belton, SC 29627).
