He is survived by: his mother Joyce Cook McConnell; his wife Karen Phillips Jinks; his stepfather Bill McConnell; his sons, Chris Phillips (Ashley), Matthew Elrod (Heather), Andrew Elrod (Natalie) and Josh Norris (Emily); his siblings, Terry Jinks, Kenneth McConnell, Lamar Hurst, Phillip Hurst, Gerald Holmes, Frieda Jinks and Linda Jinks; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Hobgood, Kailey Sharp, Luke, Gage, Easton, Jase, Natalie Elrod, Hunter and Caleb Norris.
