It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Mitchell (Belton, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Johnson and Lonie Vaughn Johnson; her siblings, James Johnson, Frances Barrett, Emma Jane Prince and Martha Hughes; her grandson Todd Hamby; her great grandchild Ashlan Smith; and her great great grandchild Will Hamby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Arflin of Honea Path, Shelby Whitfield of Belton, Betty Hamby of Belton and Cathy Banister (Mike) of Belton; and her siblings, David Johnson of Belton and Ella Mae Gambrell (Rufus) of Belton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, 11great great grandchildren.
