He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Whitmire and Marvin Whitmire of Clinton, SC.. He is survived by: his wife Anita C. Whitmire; his children, Michael Whitmire (Cindy) of Clinton, SC, Sonya Tschappat (Jim) of Laurens, SC and Brandon Whitmire of Mexico City, Mexico; his grandsons, Justin Whitmire and Austin Brewington; and his great grandchild Carter Brewington.
