He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Owens Watson of Belton; his children, John Watson (Stacy) and Katie Watson Burgess (Chris); and his grandchildren, Chip Burgess (Jessica), Carter Burgess, Logan Hawkins and Madison Watson.
