She was predeceased by: her husband William Bruce McCollum; her parents, James Buren and Patricia Higgins Van Buren; and her sister Martha Randall (Joe Van Buren). She is survived by: her children, Amy Davis (Byron Jones), Olen "Gene" Gay (Rebecca) and Sumer Maybee (Jonathan); her stepdaughter Nicole Wicker; her siblings, Vivian (Oscar Kennedy), James (Tamala Van Buren), Eleanor Feagin, Mary (Bano Garcia) and Eileen Dixon; and her nieces and nephews, Shelby Jones, Devin Gay, Emily Lucas, Brandon Maybee, Ethan Maybee, Linsey Lucas, Ashton Maybee, Cameron Maybee, Austin Wicker and Kevin Wicker.
