She was predeceased by: her parents, Quitman Kneece and Lilly Poole Kneece; and her son James Robert Burkett. She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Harold Burkett (Brenda) and Rev. Bobby Burkett (Glenda); her stepsons, Jimmy Preston and Ray Preston; her daughters, Sara Burgess (Calvin), Mary Ellen Wells (Billy) and Margie Perdue (Halvey); her stepdaughter Martha Lee; and her daughter Ann Burgess. She is also survived by twenty 26 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
