It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarissa Yvonne Chavis Schmidt (Beech Island, South Carolina), born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David; and her parents, Ed Benson and Lena Jane Chavis.
