It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Vaigneur of Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Cotton" Vaigneur and Miriam "Mickey" Rahn Vaigneur. He is survived by: his children, William "Will" Vaigneur, IV and Angel Lynn Vaigneur; his niece Michelle Harral; his brother Robert "Robbie" Vaigneur; his grandchildren, Tyler Goneke, John Ryan Goneke (Kori), Ben Vaigneur and Chase Vaigneur; and his great grandchild Kalla Jo Goneke.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made to Amedisys Foundation.

“I really am sad to hear that Mr. Vaigneur passed and would like to send condolences to the entire family, especially Will and Angel. Mr. Vaigneur treated all the kids growing up in Port Royal like his kids. He was not only our Coach and Mentor, but an overall good man. He made us laugh while also teaching us important life lessons. I've told my kid's as well as kids I've coached through the years about him. He will definitely be missed. With love and respect, Douglas (DJ) Brown and family.”
