“Sad over the death of our beloved "Mrs. Woods." The memories from fourth grade at Port Royal Elementary are sweet ones. She was a darned good (and tough) teacher with high expectations and a huge range of skills to help us move along with learning. Even better, some of us reconnected with her in summers 2013 and 2021 for group lunches. She remembered all of us, asked about our families and careers, and rejoiced in our adult lives and the adventures that she helped guide and shape. Miss her!”
