She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Roe Howard and Brunson Bibb Howard; her husband Oliver Hardy Stone, Jr.; her brothers, John, Bibb and Robert Howard; and her daughter Melissa Stone Perryman.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Stone Marshall (Sam), William Oliver Stone (Frances) and Caroline Stone Bennett (Ernie); and her grandchildren, Sam (Muray), Davis (Cordes), Benton (Emily), Melissa, Sarah, Mary Catherine and Rebecca. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
