She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Chaplin, Jr.; her parents, Sheriff James Edwin McTeer and Jane Lucille Lupo McTeer; her son Michael Chaplin; and her sister Jane "Mookie" McTeer Woods.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Chaplin (Annette), Jimmy Chaplin (Jamie) and Jay Chaplin (Debbie); her siblings, Ed McTeer, Jr., Thomas McTeer and Georgianna McTeer Cooke; and her grandchildren, Jay Chaplin Jr., Mac Chaplin, Saxby Chaplin and Sally Chaplin Granet. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the charity of their choice.
