It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sallie Horton Sheppard of Beaufort, South Carolina, born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Horton and Walton Horton. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah and Anna Sheppard; her siblings, Louise Brunson (Buddy) and Grey Horton (Marti); her aunts, Carolyn Mullen and Mary Grey Boatwright; her nieces and nephews, Ben Brunson, Charles Brunson, Mary Grey Breckenridge, Thomas Horton and Grey Allred; and her brother Tommy Horton.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (410 Church St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Presbyterian Church of Beaufort in her memory.
