He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Ray and Annie Kate Hall Ray; and his siblings, David Ray, Rendel Ray, Goldie Mosley and Susan Moseley.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Ray (Gwen) of Lugoff, Derrick Ray of Beaufort and Jason Ray of Cassatt; and his siblings, Charles Ray of Bethune, Benny Ray (Vivian) of Lake Wateree, Elaine Robertson (Bruce) of Cassatt and Debbie Blackwell (Jim) of Bethune. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
