He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Manley" Torrey (Manley) and Irene Torrey; his sister Rosemarie Torrey; and also Edward Blackman, Jr..
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (611 Robert Smalls Pkwy, Beaufort, SC 29906). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Wounded Warriors.
