It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Lewis James Jr. of Beaufort, South Carolina, born in Girard, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond, Sr. James and Beaulah James (Synder); and his sister Shirley Bloom. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte James (Brockwell); and his children, Chuck James (Janet), Cheryl Gollihugh (Tommy) and Karen Wilson (Gray). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions Graveside Services at the Beaufort National Cemetery may be limited to a certain number of people.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made out to Carteret Street United Methodist Church.
