“To Randy's family, I'm very sorry for your loss. Randy was a great man and a good friend. We spent many a day in the river digging clams or searching for artifacts. One of the hardest working men I have ever met. I left Beaufort many years ago, but when I would come back to visit, Randy always took time out of his day to meet with me. I am very saddened by his passing because he was such an important part of my life when I lived in Beaufort. I will never forget my good friend Randy.”
