She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William and Mary Katherine Boone Ekin. She is survived by: her husband Robert F. Pearson; her children, Carrie Scarborough and Jennifer Pearson; and her grandchildren, Ethan Scarborough, Jake Scarborough, Dylan Mentel and Madeline Mentel. She is also survived by wife, mother, nana and friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests to please make a donation to the wonderful people a the local Medical Services of America (MSA) Hospice, 59 Riverwalk Blvd, Suite C, Ridgeland, SC 29936.
