He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Michelle Allen Hipps of Beaufort, SC; his parents, Doris Garrison Hipps and Harry Hipps; his daughters, Peri Hipps Sheppard, Laura Hipps and Madison Hipps; his sisters, Carol Williams and Stacey Page; his son-in-law Steven Sheppard; and his grandson Hunter Sheppard.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Beaufort County Open Land Trust, in Memory of Michael Hipps. Your donations will go towards a park bench in his memory in one of his favorite Beaufort public parks, overlooking the water.
