She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Mills Jr.; her parents, Rufus Theodore and Wilma Claire Castleberry Phillips; her brothers, Calvin and Ted Phillips; her children, Johnny, David Mills and Susan Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Hicks and Owen.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Hamrick and Randy Mills. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
