He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Covington and Margaret Love Covington. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Lynn Avant (Becky); his daughter Laura Miller (Chris); his grandchildren, Jamie, Rebekah and Daniel; his great grandchild Andrew (Tabatha); his brothers, Tom (Brenda) and Richard Craig; his uncle Richard (Jennie); his aunt Florence Love; his cousin Laura; and also, Keily, Keana and Calen Wood. He is also survived by many cousins and numerous friends.
