He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vera Woodbury, and Earl Woodbury, Sr.; his wife Eleanor; his daughters, Lisa Caldwell and Anna Kerr (Chris); his grandchildren, Dawes Caldwell (Catherine), Gil Caldwell, Emma Kerr, Molly Kerr and Henry Caldwell; and his cousin Jackie Woodbury (Gloria).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center.
