She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Lipton; and her son Joseph Lipton. She is survived by: her sons, Marcus Lipton (Marie) and Richard Lipton (Marcie); her grandchildren, Amanda Hamilton (Bill) and Ben Lipton (Kelsey); and her great grandchildren, Aubee Kate, Hudson Lipton and Eliza Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the South Carolina Alzheimer's Association in Marian's memory.
