With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judy Gough of Beaufort, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judy Gough to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Peplinski and Lawerence Peplinski; her parents-in-law, John and Ruth Gough; and her brother Michael Peplinski.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Gough; her children, Richelle Kimberling, Arica Lee and Ian Gough; her children-in-law, Sarah Gough and Peter Lee; her grandchildren, Ethan Kimberling, Joseph Kimberling, Anna Kimberling, Grant Lee, Connor Lee, Ava Lee, Alexander Gough, Vivian Gough and Colin Gough; and her siblings, Lori Davis, Cheri Peart and Paul Peplinski. She is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews; and many cousins and in-laws.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Helena's Fellowship Hall (507 Newcastle St, Beaufort, SC 29902).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider giving to one of Judy's favorite charitable organizations such as the Good Neighbor Clinic https://gnfmcbeaufort.org , the ALS Association https://www.als.org , or the Technical College of the Lowcountry Foundation https://www.tcl.edu .

“Dear Rich and Family, I was so sad to hear of Judy's passing. She was such a special person and touched so many lives. She always knew what to say or do in any situation. I have so many good memories of her....from the cakes she baked to dancing the polka at one of the Christmas parties. I pray that your fond memories of her will replace the sorrow you are experiencing now. You and your family are in our prayers. God grant you the strength to face the coming days.
