He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hoag and Rose Marie Hoag (Crane). He is survived by : his wife Helena Hoag (Virtanen); his children, Lindsay Hoag (Edward Telleria Castro), Max and Robert Castro Hoag of Santo Domingo; and his siblings, William Hoag (Diane) of Dataw Island, SC, Suzanne Nethercote (Robert) of Cohasset, MA and George Hoag (Meridith) of Sacramento, CA.
