She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Mims and Alice Wilson-Mims; her grandparents, John Wilson and Maria Mathes-Wilson; her brother Joseph Mims, Jr. (Uncle Joe); her cousins, Shirley Mims-Long and George Mims, Jr.; her significant other Reverend Charlie Powell, Sr. (Bud); her sisters, Lula Bradley and Rebecca Sanders; her aunts and uncles, Frank, Freddie, Willa Mae, Rebecca and Charlie; her children, Charlene Lopes (Donald), Charlie Powell, Jr., Judy Powell Crawford, Kenneth Powell (Joyce), Mary Edwards (Cedric) and Lionel Powell (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Kimberly Powell Fields, Erica Crawford, Jessica Lopes, Cedric Edwards, Zebulon Powell, Kenneth Powell, Jr., Shanika Osborne and Sheena Powell. She was also cherished by loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
