He was predeceased by: his parents, Peteris Ubelis and Melanija Ubelis (Sakins); his sister Baiba Ubelis; and his stepson Micheal Obourke. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Ubelis (King); his sisters, Aina Ubelis Ford and Ilze Ubelis; his godson Julian Lodge (Ubelis); his children, Corrine Ubelis and Terry Corbett (Ubelis); his granddaughter Kayla; and his stepdaughter Irma Sabel (Obourke).
