It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Shelton Lorenz of Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, David Shelton and Susan Shelton; her husband Larry G. Lorenz; her brother Charles; her sister-in-law Debbie Shelton; and her niece McKenzie Shelton. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

“Lorraine Chapman Burke and I worked with Janet Shelton at WatchIt Media in Las Vegas in 2005 to 2006. On Tuesday night, Lorraine and I received a text informing us of the sudden, unexpected passing of Janet on June 19 (my birthday, as coincidence would have it). Lorraine had texted Janet on the 19th about my birthday without any response. Now we know why. This Saturday, Janet will be laid to rest in the family plot in Columbus. Lorraine and I will be there and look forward to seeing you.”
