She was predeceased by: her husband Don; and her parents, Herbert B. Attaway, Sr. and Rena Marvin Attaway. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Day (John) of San Diego, CA, Betsy Jackson (David) and Laurie Hanna Jones of Beaufort, SC; her grandchildren, Erin Fitzgerald of Huntersville, NC, Cameron McNeill (Lisa) of Summerville, SC, Allison Day (Star) of Albuquerque, NM and Tyler Day of San Diego, CA; her great grandchildren, Ailey, Conor Kunz, Keira, Declan, Hanna McNeill and Valentín Silva; and her niece Melissa Attaway of Beaufort, SC. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Copeland Funeral Service Chapel (1 Copeland Dr, Beaufort, SC 29902). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Ground Cemetery (600 Newcastle St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
