It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. McMullan of Beaufort, South Carolina, born in Union, Mississippi, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon McMullan and Catherine Hunter; his former wife Dorothy Forsythe; his daughter Valetta Duncan; and his granddaughter Catherine Cox.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Pyle (Alice McMullan); his daughters, Sharon McMullan and Denise Rosario; his grandchildren, Grace Rosario, Nathan Sandusky and James Rosario; and his great grandchild Colin Rosario.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
