He is survived by: his wife Elaine Crosby of Grand Isle, LA.; his children, James E. Horton III, Melissa A. Horton and Joshua E. Horton Sr. (Brandy); and his grandchildren, Naomi M Spaulding (Jon), Joshua E Horton Jr. and Brandyn R Horton.
