It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacqueline Lee Van Essendelft of Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard C. Van Essendelft of Beaufort, SC; her parents, John Hughes and Viola Pugh Hughes; her daughters, Jill Waikel (Eric) and Jodi Packard; and her grandchildren, Christopher Pierce, Michael Pierce (Ritchelle), Noah Waikel (Karaghan), Jackson Packard, Gracie Packard, Joshua Packard and Katie Packard. She was also cherished by two daughters and many cats and dogs.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association.
