She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver Stephen Melton, Sr.; and her parents, Walter Fleet Bolen and Ethel Lewis Bolen. She is survived by: her children, Oliver S. Melton, Jr. (Steve), Stanley Wray Melton (Stan), Sandra Anne Melton (Sandi), Sidney Paul Melton (Barbara), Linda Susan Melton Canaday (Kelvin) and Brian Scott Melton (Julie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
