He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elias Whilden Nettles, Jr. of Wedgefield, SC and Gwendolyn Chandler Nettles of Wedgefield, SC; his stepmother Mary Boyle Nettles; his children, William Nettles (Fielding Pringle) and Mary Lynne Truman (Tom); and his grandchildren, Robert Truman, Gwendolyn Truman, William Nettles, Jr., Alex Nettles, Jackson Pringle, Lucinda Pringle and Sawyer Pringle. He was also cherished by husband, friend and role model to his children and grandchildren.
