It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donn Chown of Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Ellen M. Chown; and his father Donn M. Chown. He is survived by: his wife Marcee Chown of Beaufort, SC; his mother June M. Stevenson of Beaufort, SC; his sisters, Toni Chown-Olds and Lynn Stratton of Savannah, GA; his sons, Jeffrey Chown of Virginia Beach, VA and Christopher Chown of Stafford, VA; his daughters-in-law, Alice Chown and Lisa Chown; his stepchildren, Virginia Huling of Baton Rouge, LA and Michael Brett Huling of San Antonio, TX; and his goddaughter Elizabeth Kramer Hurff. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous loving nieces, nephews, and their spouses.

Donn's family asks that donations in lieu of flowers be sent to Port Royal Animal Hospital, 1502 Paris Ave, Port Royal, SC 29935 or in his honor to the charity of your choice.
