Catherine Josepha O'Keefe Snell Obituary

Catherine Josepha (O'Keefe) Snell, 90, of Beaufort, SC, daughter of the late Dennis Francis and Catherine Josepha (Loughran) O'Keefe died Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at her home she shared with her daughter Linda and Mark. Catherine was born on October 8, 1930 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Gunnery Sgt. USMC Warren L. Snell Sr; a daughter, Patricia Irene Snell; sons James Anthony and Otis Potter Snell.

Survivors include her children, Stan (Audrey) Snell, Kathleen (Glen) Thompson, Linda Snell and Mark Bradham, Denise Holden and Henry Baldwin, Steve Holden, Warren Jr. (Fran) Snell and Thomas Snell and Kathleen Steere; her brother and sister- in-law, Robert and Carol Snell; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; many dear friends, as well as all her nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Copeland Funeral Service. A rosary service will be held at 5:30 p.m., at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at St. Peters Catholic Church, Lady's Island. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery.
