It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Ann Kinard Heape in Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Heape of McMillan Road; her parents, Joe Duncan Kinard and Ethel Breland Kinard; and her siblings, George, Leon, Robert, Dwight Kinard, Melovene Bailey and Jeanette Turnipseed.

She is survived by: her son William Heape of Hampton; her grandson Justin W. Heape of Hampton; and her siblings, W. Dennis Kinard (Nancy) of Walterboro, Charles Delo Kinard (Martha) of Knoxville and Helen Kinard of Walterboro.

The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
