She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco Riestra-Lopez; and her parents, Luis Riestra and Eugenia Fernandez. She is survived by: her daughters, Yvonne E Riestra, Judith A. Morales, Carmen I. Riestra and Gloria J. Morales; and her siblings, Miguel A Riestra and Josefa Riestra of Perez.
She had a superpower, she battled bravely and survived 3 cancers: Melanoma, Breast Cancer, Kidney Cancer and the Covid Crisis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization.
