She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillary Horace Griffis and Noley Pittman Griffis; her husband Fred W. Ott Jr.; and her son John Darrel Ott. She is survived by: her children, David W. Ott (Kitty), Wanda Nierode, Debbie Newton (Mike), Gail Benton (Tony) and Patty Linn (Tommy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
