He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sage Moody (Kim) of Lexington, Ethan Moody (Lacy) of Goose Creek, Erin Bland (Daniel) of Moncks Corner and Brooke Moody of St. Stephen; his great grandchild Sutton Moody; his siblings, Danny Moody (Charleston), Carol Bellamy (Neal) of Cottageville, Donna Smith (Jack) of Huntersville, AL, Gena O'Neal (Mike) of Athens, GA, Hyman Moody, Jr. (Teresa) of Hanahan, Wanda Key (George) of Greenwood, Audrey O'Neal of Greenwood, Kenneth Moody (Rene) of Moncks Corner and Mike Moody (Gloria) of Moncks Corner; and his stepmother Elaine Varnadoe of Hanahan.
