She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bass Thomas and Coral Thomas; her children, Michael K. Owens (Lisa) and Kathy Newman (Noah); her brother Kenneth Thomas; her grandchildren, Christopher Holtsizer (Kerri) and Rainne Hicks (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Erin, Evan, Nolan and Mallory.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (2648 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
Memorials in memory of Miss Betty may be made to Clarkesville Baptist Church.
