He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny A. Smith and Faye E. Lowman Wyatt; his wife Lynda L. Smith; and his daughter Jenny Lynn Smith. He is survived by: his children, Wade A. Smith, Jr. of Kentucky and Diane Cox of Kentucky; and his siblings, John W. Wyatt (Doris) of South Congaree, Jerry E. Wyatt of Lexington, Christine "Tina" Nettles of Greenville and Euvahn Mook of Greenville. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
