He was predeceased by: his spouse Daisy Nelson; and his parent Simon Henry Derrick, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Alberta Miller Chambers; his children, Pamela Anne Knight (Mark) of Columbia and Bruce Wayne Derrick (Jennifer Thompson) of Piedmont; his stepchildren, Susan Lollis (Jerry) of Simpsonville, Cathy Leming (Richard) of Kingsport, TN and Thomas McMahan, Jr. (Pam) of Laurens; his stepsisters, Janet Chambers and Vivian Chambers; his grandchildren, Jessica Blake (Josh) and Korin Rogerson (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Joey Blake, John McQuade Blake and Porter Rogerson.
