Shelby Jean Cockrell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Jean Cockrell of Batesburg, South Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Williard Jesse Brunson and Marie Bunch Hall; her husband Jacob Doyle Cockrell; her siblings, Johnny Hall, Odell Brunson and Alice Faye Huckabee; and her great grandchild Jessa Furtick.
She is survived by: her children, J. D. Cockrell Jr. (Dawn M. Hall), Pat Cockrell and June Furtick (Phil); and her sisters, Lillie Mae Branham, Diane Rodgers, Betty Jean Scully and Jeanny Kunder of Germany. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing and masks are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hulon Baptist Church Building Fund or the ALS Foundation.
